A terrific find for a drum corps fan! This men's wool athletic jacket looks like a letter jacket, made for a member of the Kenosha Kingmen Drum & Bugle Corps in the mid-late 1950s. It's black wool with old school chain stitching front and back, made for Bugler Jim with striped ribbing and slant waist pockets. It's fully lined.

Looks very nice at first, on close inspection it is apparent that the striped ribbing has been whitened along the white stripes with paint (probably white shoe polish), feels a bit stiff due to this; the exterior is otherwise like new; the lining has multiple areas of repaired tears in the neckline and under the arms, visible to inside only
