A terrific 1950s fit & flare dress in harlequin print silk! This black cocktail frock is made with large & tall proportions, a desirable rarity from this era. The sleeveless fitted bodice has V-point darts at the torso center front, with a cobalt blue obi style sash & box pleated full skirt. Has a piped jewel neckline and armholes. Gorgeous design, fully faced in soft rayon through the bodice.

Overall pristine, has a very subtle single oval mark about 4 inches above the V-point waist of bodice, this is slightly visible on the blue portion of the print where it looks a slight bit ruddy, hard to perceive; the cobalt blue sash has a few tiny similar marks, not noticed when worn
