Stetson Airplane Hat Box - 1940s Men's Stetson Flagship Blue Hatbox with Lid and Twill Strap - American Airlines - 40s WWII Era Pilot

This marvelous Stetson hatbox is a rarity with its airplane graphics top and bottom, a navy blue main panel, and American Airlines logos on the planes as well as above the Stetson Flagship script. Has a cotton twill band across the interior top that snaps on/off, and an oval cardboard inside to hold a hat. It's currently empty, ideal for storing hats or lightweight items.

7 1/4 Inches Tall, Diameters are 12 1/2 and 14 1/2 inches to the oval shape

Pest damage to edges of paper stickers, rubs and mild creases & scuffs to edges of hatbox, some scuffs to underside on airplane graphic, a 6 x 8 inch tan liquid outline over the airplane on lid, has the name "HARRY DEARDORF PD" pencilled to lid
