A picturesque red gingham dirndl from Germany, so quaint from the 1950s! This checked cotton summer frock has a square neckline, corset-inspired bodice with many shell buttons & a nipped waist. It has a very full skirt with tight gathers to the waist seam and a marvelous bustled peplum style ruffle to the back waist.

Cold hand wash, tumble until damp, press on medium-high setting
